Poppies for Broxburn & Uphall War Memorial

Uphall Community Council wish to commemorate the end of World War One, 100 years ago, by putting knitted or felt Poppies on the railings in front of the War Memorial.

Knitting patterns to create a Poppy can be collected from Uphall Community Centre.  Once complete (with a length of yarn for them to be attached), please drop them off at the Community Centre office.

Scottish Land Commission - Public Meeting

The Scottish Land Commission is holding a ‘Meet & Greet’ event, open to the public, at Uphall Community Centre on Thursday 21 June from 6pm.
 
The event provides the opportunity to find out more about the newly established Scottish Land Commission, who they are and what they do. They are also interested in hearing from communities and what they think the priorities are for land reform.

Uphall Children's Gala Day - 9th June 2018

The Uphall Children's Gala Day will be held on Saturday 9th June 2018.  The parade will leave Wynford Avenue at 12 noon.

The Crowning of Uphall Gala Day Queen Honey Gardner will take place at King George V Park upon the Parade arriving there.

Members of Uphall Community Council have been busy distributing copies of their latest newsletter (Issue 8 - 2018) to every home in Uphall. The Uphall Village Newsletter is issued once a year and its hoped residents will find it informative and useful.
